I conducted extensive research on all of the french door refrigerators and ended up purchasing Frigidaire Professional FPHB2899LF and am very pleased! In addition, Consumer reports rated this model very high, as well. I have had this refrigerator for less than a week and am very impressed with the ice making production, great tasting water, huge freezer and overall quietness.

I've had this refrigerator for 9 months and have not had any major issues. Twice the ice maker has stopped working but we may have left the door open a crack which caused it to ice over. Turn it off then on & it started working again. I wish it had a "Door Open" alarm. The bottom drawer for lunch meats and such is a bit of a pain as you have to open both doors to open the drawer. Love the beverage can dispenser.

ACCEPT for the ice maker I like this fridge. the ice maker has been nothing but a problem. Every time we had a break in the power we had to trip the circuit breaker and even that at times would not turn the ice maker back on. Called Electrolux and they have sent a new circuit board which was installed a week ago so far so good and we did appreciate the promptness with the fix. Hope everything will now run smoothly. Very happy with refrigerator, came with defective filter but once replaced the water/ice works great...after service call. Wish the top wire bin in freezer was higher in back, hard to get food out when it falls behind. Also, can sorter is waste of space for us, we don't use it. Otherwise, lots of room, quiet & so far so good

Overall I love the refrigerator. I love the spaciousness, the lighting, but I am disappointed in the ice maker. I never had an ice maker before and was really looking forward to it and the in door dispenser for ice and water. The ice maker tends to want to freeze up frequently (I suspect it is because it has been cold out so we haven't been using the ice fast enough). The problem is, when you remove the drawer to get ice out and clean it, it is extremely difficult to put back in. I mean sometimes an hour or more to get it to go. The serviceman is great and he showed me how to fool the fridge into thinking the door is closed and use the ice dispenser to help line things up, but last time even that didn't' work. I was over an hour messing with it. When it freezes up it leaks water out the dispenser. It also somehow gets jammed and then only dispenses crushed ice. I like crushed ice but not for everything. I then have to make regular cube trays in the freezer. Thank goodness I kept my old ice cube trays. All in all, this has been the only disappointment in the fridge. If it were not for that I would give it a 6 star rating. I do love my serviceman though...he is wonderful, but I hate to have to call again about the ice maker!

Frigidaire Professional FPHB2899LF offers great technology and tons of space. The ice maker generally makes ice quickly and the LED lights inside the fridge are a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this fridge to my friends and family.

Great looking appliance, nice easy to use touch features. Plenty of room. No need for the soda can dispenser, could have used that space for more storage. Don't like that you have to open both doors to get to the large center drawer, they could have made it into two separate compartments. The left side door does not stay open, but that is due to the weight. All minor problems I can live with...

This is the first appliance of the Professional series that I have installed. Slide in range, microwave & dishwasher are on the way. If they are as good as the frig I'll be extremely happy. The frig a little difficult to get the doors the same height and to open/close the same (one wanted to fly all the way open & the other wanted to fly shut and hit your arm). The ice maker stopped working but I turned it off & back on and it has worked fine since. Plenty of space in the freezer and frig, Ice & water in the door, looks good and works good. Retail price is a bit high but shop around. Don't be afraid to buy one.

In general, I like the french Door Refrigerator with the ice/water in the door. The one thing I would change is how the far out the full drawer comes out - it would be nice if it came out a few inches more to allow easier access to the back of the drawer (I know you can put it out farther but it would be better if it was part of the drawer opening).
