Samsung Refrigerators


Samsung is one of the largest Korean consumer electronics & appliance giants (the other is LG) and offers many advanced features in their refrigerator lineup. LCD touch screens with features like calendar, schedule and wireless TV are not strange to Samsung refrigerators. Samsung does also offer a bit more “down to earth” refrigerators without high tech toys, which are still great products with adjustable foldaway shelves, LED lighting, dual evaporators and easy open door systems.

Samsung is also offering a 29 cu. ft. French door refrigerator, which offers the largest internal storage with standard external dimensions on the US market.

Also available from Samsung are four door refrigerators, where you can select temperature for each compartment separately, assigning each compartment either refrigerator or freezer function.

Most Samsung refrigerators are Energy Star compliant, as indicated in each model's specifications on their web site. Energy guide documents (listing yearly energy consumption and running costs) are also available for all refrigerators.

Samsung side by side model with external filtered water and ice dispenser (RS2530BWP) can be bought for as little as $1000. It does feature auto defrost function, but no Energy Star qualification, so the running costs are a bit on the high side.
