General Electric Hotpoint Refrigerators

Hotpoint is General Electric’s value brand. GE Hotpoint refrigerators offer great value and affordability. They are practical, dependable and have traditional styling. Might not have all the latest “trendy” features more expensive brands have, but they do have all the basic ones and if your budget is tight, they are worth considering.

General Electric Hotpoint refrigerators are among best priced of the GE refrigerators. You can buy a top freezer model for less than $500, prices for side by side models with through the door ice & water dispensers start around $1000. They are in similar price range as Amana refrigerators.

Unfortunately only a few of the Hotpoint refrigerators (the smallest top freezer models) are Energy Star qualified – we assume GE had to sacrifice something to achieve the low price points…Do check the Energy Guide labels and running costs not just purchase price before buying.

Hotpoint is also a brand of appliances (now owned by Ariston) in Europe – it used to be connected to the GE Hotpoint in US, but not anymore. Nowadays all they have in common is the name.
